Professional Standards or Conduct Complaints
As a professional Solution Focused Hypnotherapist I strive to maintain the highest standards of conduct and service. In the event that you are dissatisfied with these you reserve the right to raise a complaint. Complaints can be raised with the professional organisation(s) I am registered with:

Appropriate record keeping is required for your therapy. I keep records for all therapy clients or those who ask for professional advice or services. Only information that is essential to your care will be recorded, in both paper and electronic format. I will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. At no time will your email address or contact details be sold, or otherwise distributed to any third party.
I never send unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) to any clients using their email address.
Clients shall at no time record sessions (in full or in part) and/or display confidential information on publicly accessible sites, where 100% privacy cannot be guaranteed.
My site uses a tool which collects information on the pages you visit and passes elements of this to search engines to assist them in indexing my site. It also uses cookies.
All client records and information will remain confidential at all times and is used only for the purpose for which it was given. I will only use information about you to continue your care or for purposes where you have given specific permission to use it. Exceptions to this include:
- If you reveal you intend to harm yourself or another person.
- If you reveal that a child is being or is in danger of abuse.
- If I am compelled to reveal information by a court order.
- If you reveal you are a member of a terrorist organisation – this must be reported to the police.
- If you reveal you are laundering money from the sale of drugs – this must be reported to the police.
- In order to ensure continued best practice, I receive regular clinical supervision of my work with clients. During supervision it may be necessary to review your therapy but any reference that could allow you to be identified is removed.
If you believe that I have misused or disclosed your information beyond the conditions outlined above and wish to raise a complaint under the Data Usage and Access Act 2025, please click the following button to raise and submit your complaint, including as much detail as possible to aid investigation.
Receipt of your complaint will be acknowledged within 30 days and you will be updated on progress of investigation without undue delay.
